A little late on blogging (again, scusate!), but let’s start 2013 off with a (late) bang! This weekend marked the 140th anniversary of Carnevale at Viareggio, a seaside town in NW Tuscany. Second in italy, only to that of Venice, Viareggio more than 1 million spectators to its grand party with palazzo size floats, music, dancing, and all over joyous atmosphere. This year we decided to take little P and our “rent a kid”, Simona, to enjoy it through the eyes of babes. And oh what fun we had! Carnevale runs for the next three Sundays starting at 3:00PM. If you happen to be in Florence, Lucca or Pisa, you are just a short train/drive away. Be sure to catch the excitement!
