About Megan & Luigi (and Lucy too!)

At age 13, Megan made her first visit to Italy with her parents and fell instantly in love with the country. She then proclaimed (over her first glass of wine!), she would live there someday and open a bed & breakfast. A few decades and over a dozen trips later, Megan finally made good on her dream – at least the first part - and bought two one-way tickets to Italy (Her dog, Lucy, had to come too!).

After months of language school and working in a B&B, Megan started Bella Vita Italia, based on the many requests from friends, family and guests of the B&B to assist in organizing their Italian vacations.

Although he keeps his “day job” running the family fish-broker business (for now!), Megan’s husband, Luigi, a native of Le Cinque Terre area, helps out when possible with trip planning, excursions and getting through the Italian red-tape!

Lucy also has a role in the family business - playfully greeting guests in Megan & Luigi's home and, of course, taking care of the left overs from cooking lessons!

After 4 years in the business and over 75 vacations planned, Bella Vita Italia continues to create unique travel experiences for visitors to Italy...
