Booking & Payments

To book one of our private excursions, a completed booking form must be completed and depending on the excursion/activity requested, either a non-refundable deposit or full payment will be due upfront. BVI will specify the payment information & cancellation policy in our response email to your request.

In the instance of a deposit, the balance will be paid in euros cash on the day of your excursion/activity. In any case, a credit card number will be necessary in case of a late cancellation or no show.

In the instance of full payment upfront, if we are within 14 days of your excursion/activity date, payment must be made by credit card or Pay Pal.

BVI accepts payment in USD by check or credit card via Pay Pal.  A 3.5% banking fee applies to payments by credit card or Pay Pal.  Prices are quoted in Euros and invoiced in US Dollars at the daily exchange rate.

You will receive a confirmation email with all the details of your excursion(s) approximately 30 days before the date of your excursion(s).  When possible, we will send the confirmation sooner.

General Cancellation Policy

Please note, this is our general cancellation policy. Some excursions/activities require different cancellation requirements and we will provide you with that information in our first email to you. Cancellation requests should be made in writing (via email, fax or mail). BVI shall not be liable for any lost or stolen correspondence, letters, emails or facsimiles. It is the responsibility of the Client to confirm that BVI received your request. Cancellations are subject to the following fees without exception:

  • More than 45 days prior to the arrival date: 90% refundable minus any banking fees
  • 44-30 days prior to arrival date: 50% refund of total cost
  • 29-15 days prior to arrival date: 50% refund of total cost
  • 14-8 days prior to arrival date:  25% refund of total cost
  • 7 days or less prior to arrival date: Non-refundable

In the event a refund is provided, currency conversion costs and expenses associated with exchange rate fluctuations will be subtracted from such refund.

BVI’s Responsibilities

BVI may change any itinerary or service provider based on availability of guides, drivers,  accommodations, arrival and departure times, etc.  BVI will provide you with complete details of your excursion/transfer upon receipt of payment.

Limitations of Liability

BVI and/or its agents, act as consultants/agents in making arrangements for hotels, sightseeing tours, transportation, weddings elements and activities or any other service in connection with the itineraries of individual trip or event participants who by acceptance thereof, acknowledge that neither BVI and/or its agents and suppliers shall be liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity, liability or expense to person or property due to act or default by any hotel, carrier or other company or person providing or rendering services included in the trips or events.

Further, BVI and/or its agents accept no responsibility for any sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, government restraints, failure or strikes of public transportation, acts of war and terrorism, weather conditions, defect in any vehicle of transportation or for any misadventure or casualty or any other causes beyond their control. In some exceptions, BVI may host an excursion or activity, and the same acceptance applies to the client.
