Our itineraries are carefully designed with your travel wishes in mind and our expertise to create the trip of a lifetime. Our job is to handle all the travel arrangements from the moment you land until the day of your departure, so your "job" is merely to enjoy your vacation...
Our Tailor-Made Vacations begin with an in-depth consultation (by phone, skype or email) to discuss all your travel questions and wishes plus how to best organize your precious travel time. After we have collected enough information, we will start designing the best itinerary possible. About a week later (sometimes a bit more in high season), we will present you with a “first draft” proposal which includes the following travel arrangements:
- Your day-to-day detailed itinerary
Your accommodations (ranging from charming B&B’s to 5-star luxury hotels, depending on your style of travel)
- Transportation (from train travel to car rentals to private drivers)
- All your scheduled tours, museum reservations, day excursions and other fun activities during your trip
About one month before departure, you will receive your Bella Vita Italia Travel Packet which includes everything mentioned above PLUS recommended restaurants and suggested “on your own” excursions in each of your destinations, our “Helpful Hints Guide” for Italy and your specific destinations plus detailed contact information.
Additionally, you will have endless communication with BVI before and during your travels in Italy.
**As each Tailor-made Vacation Tour Package is different from another, pricing of trip package varies and is determined by number of travel days, participants, destinations, time of year, travel style and the overall intricacy of your itinerary. We always ask for you to have an approximate budget in mind so we can work within those parameters.
Our Tailor-made Vacation itinerary planning begins with a signed contract and a retainer fee. While the retainer fee is non-refundable, it is put toward the overall cost of your Tailor Made Vacation, not in addition to. Once you have approved our proposal, we require a 25% deposit (minus the retainer fee). The balance is due 90 days prior to your arrival date.
