Intimate, romantic, and unique...These are the three words we think of when it comes to creating your special day in Italy. And we have carefully selected a handful of locations that not only embody these three words but provide the perfect ambience for the event of a lifetime.

PORTOVENERE - Considered one of the Italian Riviera’s most beautiful and authentic seaside villages with its dramatic position upon the Mediterranean Sea and its colorful waterfront promenade, homes and medieval castle all dating back to the 13th century. Your perfect wedding day here would consist of the ceremony taking place in a medieval tower, the “one of a kind” San Pietro Church or Castle Doria, all overlooking the sea, village and Gulf of Poets.

LERICI - Known as the “Pearl of the Gulf”, Lerici commands an impressive and panoramic position upon the Mediterranean Sea and the Gulf of Poets. Its typical Ligurian palazzi (buildings) light up its main square and port with a sense of true Italy. Your perfect wedding day here would consist of the ceremony taking place in the Medieval fortress overlooking village and the bay or the terrace of one of the village’s finest hotels.

MONTEROSSO - High above the old town sits a 800 year old monastery turned farm estate oozing rustic charm and beauty. It also contains a consecrated medieval chapel for ceremonies, or if you prefer, the back lawn overlooking the village, vine-covered cliffs and the sapphire Ligurian sea below.

VERNAZZA - Often referred to as the “prettiest” of the five villages that make up Le Cinque Terre, it also has a wonderful seaside church for religious ceremonies, the ramparts of a medieval watchtower for a civil or symbolic ceremony and the reception could take place either in a local trattoria or cliffside restaurant with amazing sea views.

CASTELLINA IN CHIANTI (TUSCANY) - Located in the heart of the Chianti region is a lovely
“agriturismo” (bed & breakfast and winery) with vine-covered hills and panoramic vistas. Your wedding could be held in the local village’s medieval town hall tower or on the estate in its tiny but charming chapel while the reception would be under the starry Tuscan skies with the perfume of grapes. olives. lavender and rosemary in the air.
